MISCELLANEOUS

American Indoor Football Association

The Florida Knights, based in Bradenton, are looking for players and cheerleaders. Tryouts are Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Manatee Civic Center. Call Alton Walker at (813) 802-4170.

SOCCER

Azalea

The league is holding registration on Saturdays, Aug. 4, 11 and 18 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Azalea Rec Center. Players must be four years old by Aug. 1. For information, call 345-0699.

Madeira Beach Youth Soccer

Madeira Beach will have registration for children ages 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12 at the Madeira Beach Recreation Center (200 Rex Place). The cost is $70 for residents of Madeira Beach and $85 for non-residents (includes shirts, shorts and socks.) The registration dates will be Aug. 18, Aug. 25 and Sept. 1 from 10 a.m.-noon, as well as Aug. 22 from 6-8 p.m. Coaches and sponsors are needed. Any questions call Colin Shaw at 392-0665.
