At Lady Bird Johnson's funeral, there was a Scripture reading from the Book of Daniel. Could I please have the verses that were read? Claudia Taylor Brod, the former first lady's namesake and granddaughter, read from Daniel 12:3. The King James version of that verse is, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."
