Gallery walk good time to see new exhibitions
By Lennie Bennett, Times art critic

See what's new
Many downtown St. Pete galleries have new summer exhibitions, and the monthly gallery walk is a good time to peruse them. ArtSpace rotates featured artists, and now the spotlight is on Paula Allen's "Pollyzoom Town" with paintings, ceramics and drawings. At Florida Craftsmen, a collection of Roddy Reed's ceramics is on show and sale. Reed, who died in 2005, was celebrated for his exquisitely detailed and proportioned pinch pots, a sampling of which is shown. All proceeds from the sale of his work are designated for charities that he chose benefitting the arts and environmentalism.
