Basic Blindz window blinds

Company: Springs Window Fashions LLC.

Why? The window blinds have a pull cord that is looped, posing a strangulation hazard to young children.

What models? The 2-inch Natural Faux Wood Plantation Blinds sold under the Basic Blindz brand. The blinds have a yellow steel top rail, also called the head rail, a cord tilter on the left side to tilt the slats open or closed, and a double pull cord that meets at a cord connector and ends in a single cord on the right side (to raise and lower the blinds). Stickers inside the top rail state: "Springs Window Fashion LLC, Middleton, WI 53562," "Made in China" and "Manufacturing Date Code." Why? The fish could be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum, which causes botulism, a potentially fatal form of food poisoning.

What models? The recalled dried vobla has the code number 07/05/07.

Why? They don't have a safety feature that prevents tread separation.

What models? Hi-Heat aerosol coating cans

Company: Sherwin-Williams Co.

Why? The aerosol cans can overpressurize and explode.

What models? Thermo-Tec Hi-Heat aerosol coating used to color and protect Thermo-Tec automotive exhaust wrap. The part number (#12002) is printed above the UPC, and the date code (#B1815) is written on the bottom of the can. The 11-ounce aerosol can is mostly blue with orange and yellow flames and has an aluminum-colored cap. The can states "HI-HEAT COATING 2000F" in large white letters on the front of the can.

Where sold? Automotive supply stores, repair shops and parts suppliers nationwide.

What to do? Contact Sherwin-Williams. A representative will be dispatched within 48 hours to safely collect the recalled cans. Consumers will be sent a $15 check for each recalled can that is collected.

Stuffed Plush Horse/Pillows and Fairy Dolls

Company: Orvis Co.

Why? The plastic button eyes on the stuffed horse and the pompom nose on the fairy doll toy can easily detach, posing a small parts choking hazard to young children.

What models? The Stuffed Horse is a plush brown horse/pillow that was sold as an accessory with the purchase of a Horse Animal Sleeping Bag. The horse pillow has outstretched fore and back legs, a bushy black mane and tail and attaches to the sleeping bag with a hook/loop attachment on the belly of the horse. Stuffed horses with eyes directly embroidered on the plush fabric are not included. The Fairy Doll toy was sold as an accessory with the purchase of a Unicorn Animal Sleeping Bag. The stuffed fairy doll has a sewn-on pompom nose, a pink satin dress with glitter netting as a ruffled collar, sleeves and dress apron. The doll attaches to the sleeping bag with a hook/loop attachment on the bag and between the doll's wings. The fairy doll is one of three toys that attach to the sleeping bag. Also included are a large unicorn pillow and small flat unicorn. The unicorn attachments are not included.

Where sold? Orvis Co. mail-order catalog and Web site.

What to do? Contact Orvis for a refund or replacement. Consumers can continue to use the sleeping bags while waiting to receive replacement toys.

LED E lights

Company: Plan 9 Inc.

Why? The circuit board in the lights can overheat, posing a risk of fire.

What models? The E Light is a 12-volt DC light fixture with recessed LEDs typically mounted on the ceiling or under a counter. The recalled light is a flat, white rectangle with three LEDs (in the 3-watt model) or six LEDs (in the 6-watt model).

Where sold? Various recreational vehicle parts retailers and the Backwoods Solar Electric Systems Web site.

What to do? Turn the power off at the circuit breaker and contact Plan 9 for instructions on returning the product for a refund.

2007 Raleigh Cadent bicycles with carbonage carbon forks

Company: Raleigh America Inc., Kent, Wash.

Why? The forks can break during normal use, causing the rider to lose control, fall and suffer serious injuries.

What models? The 2007 Raleigh Cadent 1.0, Cadent 2.0 and Cadent Carbon bicycle models with carbon forks. "Raleigh" is printed on the down tube of the bicycle, and the model name is printed on the top tube.

Where sold? Raleigh America dealers.

What to do? Return them to place of purchase. Raleigh bicycle dealers will replace the forks at no charge.

Relief plugs used on nitrous oxide systems and HVAC service tools

Company: Rehvac Manufacturing Co.

Why? The safety relief plug can allow pressure to build in the cylinder of an HVAC pressure-testing tool or nitrous oxide system. If the cylinder is overfilled and overheated, it can burst.

What models? The 3000-psi safety plugs used in the cylinders of nitrous oxide systems and in HVAC pressure-testing tools. The nitrous oxide systems are used as gas boosters for motor vehicles. The plugs are nickel-plated. The number "3000" is stamped on the face of the plug.

Where sold? HVAC and nitrous oxide systems suppliers and retailers.

What to do? Stop using the cylinders that contain the recalled plugs and place them in a cool location. Contact Rehvac for a free replacement plug.

Stand-alone CleanEffects and AccuClean air filtration systems

Company: Trane.

Why? Electrical arcing inside the collection cells can cause the collection cell material to overheat or ignite, posing a fire hazard.

What models? The recall involves whole-house air filtration units that were installed with consumers' air handlers or furnaces. They were sold as the Trane CleanEffects and the American Standard AccuClean systems. The recall involves air filtration systems with serial numbers prior to 7222***** and includes CleanEffects models TFD145ALFR000A, TFD14DALFR000A, TFD215ALAH000A, TFD175ALFR000A, TFD17DALFR000A, TFD235ALAH000A, TFD210ALFR000A, TFD21DALFR000A, TFD260ALAH000A, TFD245ALFR000A, TFD24DALFR000; and AccuClean models AFD145ALFR000A, AFD14DALFR000A, AFD215ALAH000A, AFD175ALFR000A, AFD17DALFR000A, AFD235ALAH000A, AFD210ALFR000A, AFD21DALFR000A, AFD260ALAH000A, AFD245ALFR000A. The serial and model numbers are on the inside of the door of the air cleaning units.

Where sold? Trane and American Standard independent dealers.

What to do? Consumers with an air handler unit should stop using the recalled systems. To turn off the system, push and hold the round power button on the front of the air cleaner door for about three seconds until the LED panel illuminates. Release the power button. The LED panel will remain lit for about 15 seconds and then go out. Affected consumers will be notified directly about receiving a free replacement collection cell.

Sandal clogs

Company: Hanna Andersson Inc.

Why? The leather ankle strap can tear or separate from the clog sole, posing a fall hazard.

What models? The sandals have a birchwood sole and leather straps. They come in different colors (blue, pink and black) and were sold in European sizes 25-41. The bottom of the wooden sole has rubber grips. The words "Hanna Andersson" and "Made in Sweden" are printed on the sole.

2007 Toyota Tacoma trucks

Company: Toyota Motor North America Inc.

Why? The front side of the rear propeller shaft could separate at the joint and come into contact with the road, resulting in a loss of control of the vehicle.

What models? Some 2007 Toyota Tacoma trucks with four-wheel drive.

Where sold? Toyota dealers.

Golf cars; rough terrain vehicles; and hospitality, utility and transport vehicles

Company: Club Car Inc.

Why? The steering gear assembly can fail, resulting in a loss of steering control, posing a risk of injury to the driver and passenger.

What models? Various 2007 model year gasoline or electric-powered vehicles for transportation around golf courses, hotels, airports and residential communities. Vehicles can be identified by the serial number above and to the right of the accelerator pedal. Not all 2007 model year vehicles are included. Owners who have not been contacted by Club Car should check the vehicle's model and serial number on the firm's Web site or by calling Club Car to determine if their vehicle is included in the recall.

Where sold? Club Car dealers.

What to do? Club Car will inspect the vehicle to determine whether a free replacement of the steering gear assembly is needed.

Bistro metal folding chairs

Company: Cost Plus Inc.

Why? The chairs can collapse because of faulty rivets, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

What models? The metal painted folding chairs were sold in four colors: red, blue, white and green. SKU numbers 390225, 390228, 390229 and 390230 are printed on the sales receipt.

Where sold? Cost Plus World Market stores.

What to do? Return to any Cost Plus World Market for a refund.

Stubben Steeltec horseback riding stirrups

Company: Stubben North America Inc.

Why? The stirrup's hinges can break, posing a fall hazard to riders.

What models? The recalled stirrups are attached by straps to a saddle and are used by horseback riders to help them mount a horse or for support while riding. They are made of stainless steel and have a hinge on each side. "Stubben STEELtec" is printed on the stirrups. They were sold in three sizes: 4 1/2 inches, 4 3/4 inches and 5 inches.

Where sold? Stubben authorized dealers.

What to do? Return stirrups to Stubben for a refund.
