The following recruits have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas:

Air Force Airman Christina Dimatteo, daughter of Tony and Susan Dimatteo of Seminole and a 1999 graduate of Largo High School.

Air Force Airman Jonathan E. Santana, son of Kelli Santana of St. Petersburg.

Army Pvt. Jean G. Champagne, son of Violet Nicolas of St. Petersburg, has graduated with honors from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Army Pvt. Aaron J. Jadallah, son of Yusri J. Jadallah of St. Petersburg, has graduated from the Parachute Rigger Course at the 262nd Quartermaster Battalion, Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Alan W. Stokling, son of Alan W. and Lorretta A. Stokling of St. Petersburg, has graduated from the Air Traffic Control Operations Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss.

Army Pvt. Mathew W. Seward, son of Patty Seward of Gulfport, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.

Army Pvt. Mitchell Young, son of Beverly Chaszar of St. Petersburg and a 2007 graduate of Clearwater High School.
