Today Back-to-school celebration: Over 900 backpacks filled with school supplies will be given away free to children in need from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alpha & Omega Learning Center and outreach ministry of Countryside Cathedral Church of God, 2701 Rigsby Lane, Safety Harbor. Haircuts, shoes, pizza, barbecue and soda will be available at no charge. Call (727) 725-5465. Finders keepers: Browse through unique items and find that special something at a neighborhood garage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2050 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin. There will also be a silent auction and raffle for a trailer and an "extreme" motorbike. Proceeds to be donated to a local cancer patient in need. Call (727) 786-7438.
