5 in Texas die in Erin's floods

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Rescuers searched Friday for people swept away in flash floods caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Erin.

The storms dropped up to 11 inches of rain. At least five people died Thursday; two were missing.

Two people in Houston died when a roof collapsed; a trucker whose vehicle went into a pond also died. In San Antonio, the body of a man, 19, swept away by floodwaters was found.

Searchers in Kendall County found the body of one of two people missing after their pickup truck was washed into a creek. Authorities in San Antonio were searching for a woman who was caught in high water near a mall.
