Bank will celebrate branch with party

Regions Bank will celebrate the opening of its new Lakewood Estates branch with its signature neighborhood-style block party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The new branch is at 2751 54th Ave. S, across from Albertsons.

The grand opening celebration includes free lunch and prize giveaways, a giant inflatable slide and obstacle course, face painting for the kids and free piggy banks.

"Pedal Patrols," Regions associates riding the signature green bicycles, will be in the neighborhood all week during the celebration, meeting residents and business owners, inviting everyone to the Saturday celebration, and performing random acts of kindness.

Regions newest branch will bring the bank's Tampa Bay area branch total to 101. The new branch is a full-service office with specialists in wealth management, consumer, small business and commercial banking, and mortgage lending.
