Is it true that more teenagers die from suicides than from any other cause?

No, it is not true. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, suicide is the third-leading cause of death among teens between the ages of 13 and 19. By far, the largest number of teen deaths occur from motor vehicle accidents or other unintentional injuries. Homicides are the second-leading cause of death for teenagers.
