Marine Corps Pfc. Hector O. Alicea Diaz, son of Aida L. Diaz and Hector Alicea of Pinellas Park, graduated with honor from the basic distribution management specialist course at the Marine Corps Combat Support Service School's Supply School at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Navy Seaman Kimmberly L. Guilmino, sister of Stephen P. Guilmino of St. Petersburg, has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. She is a 2007 graduate of the University of Arizona, Tucson.

These men have graduated from the Coast Guard Recruit Training Center in Cape May, N.J.:

Coast Guard Airman Joshua R. Hagerman, son of Yvette S. and Gwyn T. Hagerman of St. Petersburg and a 2007 graduate of Northeast High School.

Coast Guard Seaman David S. Proco, son of Wendy C. and David W. Proco of St. Petersburg and a 2003 graduate of Northeast High School.

Brandon M. Carius, son of Maura A. Carius of Tierra Verde.

Mark A. Steffener, son of Mark E. Steffener of Seminole and Kimberly M. Steffener of Tarpon Springs, a student at the University of South Florida, Tampa, and a 2005 graduate of Osceola High School.
