Cambridge junior Etienne Turner converted from receiver to quarterback this past offseason. So far, coach Rick Shears likes what he sees. Turner threw touchdowns of 80 and 55 yards to lead the Lancers to the preseason win in Winter Haven. The Lancers' power-I rushing attack clicked, with running back Taylor Cabral (two touchdowns) and Michael Lewis (67-yard touchdown) breaking out big gains. "From A-to-Z, the team effort was spectacular," Shears said. "I was extremely happy." Cambridge opens the regular season Aug. 31 at Bradenton St. Stephens.
