The Greater Palm Harbor Community Coalition is hosting a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Harbor Hall, 1190 Georgia Ave. The topic will be the impact of the property tax decrease on the county's budget for Palm Harbor. Speakers are scheduled to include County Commissioner Ronnie Duncan and representatives of the county's Office of Management & Budget. Pioneer fest takes you back to 1800s
Get a glimpse of 1800s life next weekend at the 33rd annual Pioneer Days Festival at the Pioneer Florida Museum. The festival includes Civil War re-enactments at 3 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday, as well as craft demonstrations, a 19th-century fashion show, master gardeners' display and children's games. The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the museum at 15602 Pioneer Museum Road, off U.S. 301 about a mile north of Dade City.
