Gus, a lovable 14-pound, 2-year-old domestic shorthair, is microchipped, neutered and has all his shots. He loves to be held. Gus can be seen at the Land O'Lakes Animal Services Center, 19640 Lake Patience Road. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 6:30 p.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Other animals are available for adoption there and at the SPCA of West Pasco, 7734 Congress St. in New Port Richey. Their hours are Monday through Saturday noon to 6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
