What are the pope's yearly expenses?

- Chuck

Hard to tell. The pope does not receive a salary, and his bills are mixed in with other expenses covered by the Holy See. Its income in 2006 was about $300-million, and expenses were about the same. More than $100-million of that total came from "Peter's Pence," contributions made directly to the pope from individuals around the world.
