Wesley Chapel 177, Hudson 241
Only one player broke 40 in the Wildcats' season-opening victory over Hudson at Lexington Oaks on Tuesday.
Senior Mike Wozniak fired 2-over-par 38 and at one point made seven consecutive pars.
"It was a solid round," Wesley Chapel coach Alan Black said. "Mike felt like he could have putted better, so it could have been even better.
"But all things considered, it was a strong opening round for the season."

Land O'Lakes 160, Gulf 210
Three players shot sub-40 rounds on the par-36 layout at Plantation Palms as the Gators topped Gulf in the season opener for both squads. Senior Wes Parrish led Land O'Lakes with 1-over 37, a round that included a birdie-3 on his final hole. Freshman Robbie Nieman shot 38 and Josh Barnett added 39.
"We're happy," Land O'Lakes coach Tom Clark said. "Our chemistry is starting to come together. And I'm real impressed with Robbie shooting a 38 in his first match. I'm looking for big things out of him. He's a student of the game."

Mitchell 174, Pasco 185
Kenny Cavender of Mitchell had 5-over 41 as the Mustangs beat Pasco at The Links of Lake Bernadette. Cavender was one of three Mitchell players to shoot 44 or lower. He birdied the par-5 seventh.
"I think we were a little rough, but we played well enough to win," Mitchell coach Rick Hyatt said. "I don't think we played as sharp as we're capable of. But it was balanced. All six guys were in the 40s."e_SClBvolleyball
