There's a story going around about a 5-year-old boy putting a baby penguin in his backpack at some aquarium. Is that true?

No. Thanks to e-mail and word of mouth, the tall tale has become an urban myth. Snopes.com, a Web site that debunks popular urban myths, refers to a similar penguin-napping story that originated in England in the early 1990s.
