COUNTYWIDE

See a crime, send a text, catch a criminal. That's what residents of Pinellas County can do now, thanks to technology that allows anyone to send a text message to Crime Stoppers of Pinellas via cell phone. To send a tip from a cell phone, text "TIP144," plus the tip, to 25735. TIP144 must be included in the first line of the text to reach Crime Stoppers of Pinellas. Tipsters also can call 1-800-873-8477 or submit tips online at www.crimestoppersofpinellas.org. Tipsters can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a reward for up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Re-educating implies that they were once educated and this is where your thinking is flawed. It's a nice liberal belief you have but highly from the truth.Very few of these convicts are rehabilatable......

Now that you are catching the bad guys why aren't you re-educating them? Because there is no money in it. So they keep doing what they are doing. Go to the root of a problem and get the gov. to help these people make the right choices.
