Elks Lodge anniversary: The Aripeka Elks Lodge 2520, 9135 Denton Ave., Hudson will host a special celebration Sept. 15 celebrating its 33 years. The event will honor founder Dave Luikart. Reservations are being taken for a complete prime rib dinner. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Music by The Bendeys will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $16 per person and are available at the lodge. Special showing, "Mother Teresa": 4 p.m. Sunday at the Family Life Center of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 4843 Mile Stretch Drive, Holiday. This 2003 movie stars award-winning actor Olivia Hussey, who gives an illuminating performance as the saintly missionary nun. A light dinner will follow the movie. A freewill donation will be taken. Want to grow bromeliads? 1 p.m. Wednesday. The New Port Richey Garden Club will meet at the Finish American Club at 6016 Delaware Ave., New Port Richey. Tom Wolfe, a well-known designer and landscaper, will introduce unusual specimens. He was instrumental in refurbishing the Bromeliad beds at Lowery Park Zoo and Ybor City Museum State Park. - Shelia's Country Music Lessons. 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Sept. 19.

- Music by Dino: 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 13. Free buffet at 9 p.m. Members and guests welcome.

- All you can eat fish or roast beef dinners. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 14. Music by Roy's Karaoke. Tickets are $6.95.

- Dinner/Dance: Dinner served 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15, Music by Tommy Thompsen from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $5.

- Football Sunday: Doors open at noon Sept. 16. Food and cocktails available.

- Monday Night Football: Doors open at 3 p.m. Sept. 17. Food and cocktails available.
