Massage-therapy chain opens Lutz clinic

Massage Envy, with five other locations in the Tampa Bay area, has opened its newest clinic in Lutz.

For $49 a month, members receive a one-hour massage and unlimited additional one-hour massages are $39 for the rest of the month. Treatments include Swedish, deep tissue and prenatal.

The Lutz location at 17673 N Dale Mabry Highway features 10 massage rooms, including a double room for couples. The clinic is open seven days a week and is staffed by up to 25 licensed massage therapists.

Massage Envy, based in Arizona, was founded in 2002 and has more than 250 clinics across the country. Their specialists have performed more than 3-million massages.

Locally, more than 100,000 massages have been given since the first Tampa Bay store opened in 2005.

Besides Lutz, other Tampa Bay locations include South Tampa and Citrus Park.

The store is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Call (813) 868-5400.
