Scouting Report
Each week, the Times will get two county players to break down one of the area's top games. This week, for Chamberlain-Middleton, we asked Brandon RB/DB Samir Baker to share his insight on the Tigers and Gaither TE/DL Justin Lattimore to dish on the Chiefs.

Samir Baker
Sr., Brandon
The tattoo on his back, "I'm a beast," best describes this two-way standout. Baker is Brandon's workhorse back and a shutdown defensive back.
On Middleton (3 things to watch)
1 They require discipline - "Carlton Jones and DeAndre Presley are great athletes - they can really make you miss. Presley can hurt you in the open field. You just have to try to contain him."
2 Blitzing works - "We blitzed them a lot, and it helped stop their running game. If you want to beat them, you have to blitz and get after their quarterback."
3 Theirsecondary is not soft - "The (corners) try to man you up. They've got so much speed, they can make up a lot of distance."
Justin Lattimore
Jr., Gaither
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound bookend is strong on both sides of the ball - so sturdy at tight end, tailback Jarvis Giles said, "I'll run his side any time." Lattimore is drawing interest from Division-I schools.
On Chamberlain (3 things to watch)
1 Their O-line is formidable - "They've got a great offensive line. They're really good at pass blocking and really get off the ball fast."
2 QB Dontae Aycock is the real deal - "He's got a great arm and good footwork. He can beat you with both."
3 Their secondary is physical - "Their secondary, they'll get up in your face and jam you. They don't mind contact. They've got some good speed, too, to catch up with you."
