CONA, along with the city of St. Petersburg, is celebrating National Neighborhood Day at 12:30 p.m. Sunday with an old-fashioned picnic at Dell Holmes Park. Although the national celebration is in its third year, this is St. Petersburg's first time marking the event. Participants are encouraged to picnic with family and friends. Festivities will include games and races for all ages in addition to the amenities at Dell Holmes Park (playgrounds, fishing, Lake Maggiore). Dress is casual comfortable. Come meet old friends, renew acquaintances and make new friends. Join city staff, City Council members, CONA officers and your neighbors at Dell Holmes Park is at 2741 22nd St. S.
