Breakfast will be ready! The following groups have breakfasts this weekend:

- 8 to 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, in the Fellowship Hall, 7922 State Road 52 in Hudson. Call 727 863-5646. All the buttermilk pancakes you can eat plus more. Donation: $3 for adults, $1 for children. You can also browse the Christmas decorations rummage sale.

- 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Gulf Harbors Civic Association, 4610 Floramar Terrace in New Port Richey. Call (727) 848-0596. Cost: $2.50 adults, children six and under free.

- 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday, Chester McKay Post 7887, 7445 Chester McKay Drive, Veterans Village. Call (727) 938-5977. Menu prices vary.

West Pasco Exotic Bird Club: 1:30 tp 4 p.m. Sunday, at Lakeside Club, 12606 Shadow Ridge Blvd., Hudson. Visitors invited. For information, call Mike (727) 856-3275.

PHIP education dinner meeting: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Seven Springs Golf and Country Club, 3535 Trophy Blvd, New Port Richey. The Pasco/Hernando Insurance Professionals and Central Insurance School will discuss "E&O Avoid Getting Sued" (two CEs for P&C/L&H). Cost: $45 for members, $65 non-members. Sons and Daughters of Erin: 7 p.m. Monday at the Jasmine Lakes Clubhouse, 7137 Jasmine Blvd. in Port Richey. Dinner and more: These groups have upcoming dinner events:

- Celebrate German American Day: Sept. 19, hosted by the German American Social Club at the Colonial Hills Civic Center at 3852 Prime Place, New Port Richey. Doors open 3:30 p.m., dinner served at 5 p.m., dancing starts at 6 p.m.Music will be by the Alpen Diamanten. Donation: $15 for members, $17 for guests. - AMVETS Dinner: 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday.The Ladies Auxiliary of AMVETS Post 16, 9638 State Road 52 in Hudson, telephone (727) 868-7391,will have a fish dinner, a shrimp dinner and a chicken tenders dinner. Donation: $5 to $7.

- Wings and Sides Dinner and Music: Saturday, hosted by the Larry Tawney Memorial VFW Post 4412, 12129 Colony Road, Hudson. Dinner at 6 p.m., live music by "Short Notice" from 7 to 11 p.m. Donation: $6. Open to all. Call (727) 856-0051.

Card party and luncheon: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday at St. Anne Byzantine Catholic Church's social center, 7120 Massachusetts Ave. in New Port Richey.
