ARCHITECTURE

RW Armstrong, 2502 N Rocky Point Drive, Suite 910, Tampa, has been chosen by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority to design the cargo and ground support equipment facilities project in the eastside development area at Tampa International Airport. Project cost is $26-million.

Willingham Architecture for Healthcare, 1698 Manor Way, St. Petersburg, announces its contract with Desoto Memorial Hospital, Arcadia, to provide owner's representation and advocacy services for a $20-million, 60,000-square-foot addition.

CONSTRUCTION

Hennessy Construction Services, 2300 22nd St. N, St. Petersburg, announces its contract with Pinellas County for the public works highway campus phase one traffic operations centralized building. The building is a Category Five-hardened building and consists of 65,00 square feet. The building will house some of the county's emergency and first responder departments will be built on U.S. Highway 19, north of Drew Street, in Clearwater. Estimated contract value is $18-million.

FINANCING

Thomas D. Wood and Co., 1700 S MacDill Ave., Suite 240 A, Tampa, arranged financing for Piedmont Crossing, a mixed-use development on 66.6 acres in North Carolina for $4.6-million.

John Heagney Public Relations, 2006 Arcadia Road, Holiday, has been retained by the Fountain of Youth Medi-Spa to implement a community relations program.

RETAIL
