At the Eagles, the Buccaneers improved to 5-2 behind the play of Michael Alberts, who shot a career-best 1-under-par 35 on Wednesday.
Alberts, a senior, made birdies at the par-5 first and par-4 eighth.
Kenny Cavender led Mitchell with 39.
Berkeley Prep had four players shoot 42 or better, including Blake Morris, who posted 39. Morris was 5-over after the first hole, but rallied by going 2-under the rest of the way.
Austin Suarez added 41.
"It was a great match," Bucs coach Tom Shea said. "After a very shaky start, we had a tremendous comeback today. We kept our heads in the game and kept moving forward."

Behind strong efforts by several team members, the Land O'Lakes boys and girls squads earned wins over Wiregrass Ranch and Wesley Chapel.
"It was a good team performance," Land O'Lakes coach Barbara Hayes said.
