Your sports photos are just what we want to see

Before you seal that recent sports accomplishment into a photo album or scrapbook, show it off to your community.
The Hernando Times will publish your submitted photos every Thursday in a new feature called Hometown Sports.
What qualifies? Anything action or posed of a community member that involves any sport from archery to shuffleboard, baseball to motocross. Photos must be recent.
How do I turn them in? E-mail photos as jpeg attachments to communitysports@tampabay.com drop them off or mail them to 15365 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613.
Answer these questions: Why was the picture taken, or at what event was the picture taken? Who is in the picture? Make sure you check the spelling. What city/town is that person (or group) from? What is going on in the picture?
To ensure that your photo is selected, save it as a large file (minimum 1.5 megabytes).
Do not try to reduce, enlarge or edit the image in any way before sending it. Simply send it as it comes off your camera.
And please leave the date off when you take the pictures.
Call Kellie Dixon at (352) 544-9480 with questions.
