Alonso 21, Leto 9

TAMPA - Inclement weather wasn't the only thing that rained on Leto's Homecoming Parade on Friday night as Alonso sloshed its way to a 21-9 victory. The Ravens' running game was just as difficult to contend with as the soggy conditions on the field. Neither team could generate much offense in the first quarter, but a recovered fumble by Alonso's Ian Hopkins provided the Ravens with their first serious scoring opportunity. David Bankston took advantage with a 4-yard touchdown run to give the Ravens a 7-0 lead. "The blocking was there tonight, so I just ran right through the holes," Bankston said. Quarterback Geno Quintana rushed for 49 yards and one touchdown for Alonso. A steady rain resulted in multiple turnovers, with the teams combining for seven fumbles on the night. Leto quarterback Robert Scime scored the only Falcon touchdown with a 1-yard run late in the fourth quarter. Leto's hopes of a comeback we dashed, however on the next offensive series as Bankston sprinted 60 yards for his second touchdown of the night.
