Times' Pinellas Super Seven 1. Largo 3-0: The Packers played without quarterback Leonard Johnson, who was nursing an ankle injury. No matter. The defense posted its second shutout in three games.e_SClB2. Northeast (4-0): The Vikings pounded Southeast. It was the first time Northeast beat the Seminoles on the road. 3. Boca Ciega (3-0): Defense and special teams are coming through for the Pirates, who are finding ways to win close games. 4. Tarpon Springs (3-0): The Spongers started district play by routing River Ridge. 5. Dunedin (3-1): Since losing to Boca Ciega the first week, the Falcons have three straight and play Largo this week. 6. Gibbs (3-1): The Gladiators bounced back after loss to Northeast with impressive victory against Dixie Hollins. 7. Start showing some love to the defense of players in the county. Every week its all about the offence and out of the players to notiice there is rarely if at all a defensive player mentioned except the 1 player of the week.

in a couple more weaks hear, i think it might be time to forget about last year, and realize that northeast might be for real, in my honest opinion, northeast has everything that largo has... only a little bit better...
