Senior menus/Meals on Wheels

Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a nutritious meal and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of frail elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. Call to register. For information on any of these meal options or to volunteer, call (727) 834-3340 in west Pasco; (352) 521-5174 in east Pasco; or (813) 929-1231 in central Pasco.
Today: Sliced turkey with turkey gravy, garden peas, whipped sweet potatoes, whole wheat bread with margarine, mixed fruit cup, low-fat milk.
Tuesday: Broccoli rice & cheese casserole, carrot cuts, green beans, whole grain bread with margarine, diced peaches, low-fat milk.
Wednesday: French onion soup, barbecue chicken quarter, mashed potatoes, corn with diced tomato, whole wheat bread with margarine, banana, low-fat milk.
Thursday: Beef stroganoff casserole, three bean medley, broccoli, whole wheat bread with margarine, diced pineapple, low-fat milk.
Friday: Pork cutlet with brown gravy, country vegetable medley, black eyed peas, whole wheat bread with margarine, chocolate chip cookie, low-fat milk.
