Income Tax Volunteers Needed: Volunteers are needed to help retirees and wage earners of all ages with their tax returns. Especially needed are people who are comfortable using computer software. Experience preparing taxes is helpful but not required because extensive training is provided. Formal training will be offered in early January using last year's software and everyone must pass a test for IRS certification. Mileage can be reimbursed. Kids Against Hunger: The Volunteer Way, 7820 Congress Street, New Port Richey, (727) 815-0433 is planning food drives and a fundraiser in West Pasco during October and November. Volunteer Way distributes food to people in need, food pantries, residential programs and more. The Volunteer Way needs block captains, adults and children, public relations volunters and more.
