Lightning Vision The new scoreboard at the St. Pete Times Forum makes the arena's old Dot Matrix Jumbotron, vintage 1996, seem like a relic. The details: - The scoreboard has 9,465,856 LEDs (light emitting diodes), which make up 2,366,464 individual pixel light points. - The light pixels are 10 millimeters apart, which creates the high-definition picture. - The scoreboard has 2,253 square feet of video capability, more than five times the Jumbotron's 432. - The main "broadcasting center" (largest display board) is 151/2 feet high and 106 feet wide in a continuous 360-degree exposure. When broken apart, each of the four sides has a 39-foot-2 diagonal picture compared with the Jumbotron's 14-2. - The halo at the top of the scoreboard adds another 610 square feet of video capacity.
