LARGO - Indian Rocks Christian was able to hang on for a homecoming and district victory over Shorecrest Prep. The Eagles scored the first four touchdowns to jump out to a 27-0 halftime lead. They were led by junior running backs Jonny Sitton and Ethan Englebert, who combined for 352 yards rushing and six touchdowns, including two in the second quarter. Indian Rocks senior Noah Smith scored on an 85-yard kickoff return to start the second half.. In the third quarter, the Chargers made it a game. They scored 29 unanswered points on four touchdowns, all by sophomore quarterback Hunter Tremaine. He also had 124 of the Chargers' 264 total yards rushing. Sitton scored on a 60-yard run in the fourth quarter to put the game away for Indian Rocks. Indian Rocks Chr. 48 Shorecrest Prep 36
