Nancy Surak, accredited land consultant, was elected to the Pasco Economic Development Council Board of Directors on Sept. 4 and will serve a three-year term. Surak is recognized as an advocate for future economic growth and new job creation in Pasco County. Surak is serving on the PEDC Business Incentive Commission and is a Florida licensed commercial real estate agent with the Eshenbaugh Land Co., 2502 N Rocky Point Drive in Tampa.
Forbes Endodontics adds an associate
Dr. James Sainbury has joined the Forbes Endodontics Group, 6707 Madison St. in New Port Richey. Sainsbury is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He has served as the director of the Endodontic Department at DePaul Hospital's Internship Program in Norfolk, Va. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and the West Coast District Dental Association.

-Nancy Bataille of Dade City was awarded the Citizen of the Year Award from the Florida Veterinary Medical Association's 78th Annual Conference. This award is presented to any non-vetertainarian who has made an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of veterinary medicine. She founded Greyhound Pets of America and initiated the Senior Sanctuary called "Seniors helping Seniors". The conference was held Sept. 7, in Lake Buena Vista.
