Hudson 65, Wiregrass Ranch 18
By DAVID MURPHY
Published October 9, 2007
HUDSON - Hudson coach Mark Nash told Zack Wynn before the game that he was only going to play one half against first-year program Wiregrass Ranch on Monday afternoon. So naturally, the sophomore quarterback took advantage. Wynn completed 11 of 21 passes for 312 yards and five touchdowns in the first half as Hudson coasted to a win over Wiregrass Ranch. For a while, it looked more like a game between Hawaii and Louisville than Hudson and Wiregrass (0-6, 0-2) as the teams combined to attempt 49 passes in the first half. Bulls quarterback Angel Rodriguez finished with 292 yards and three touchdowns on 12-of-33 passing. The Cobras (3-2, 1-1) racked up more than 500 yards of total offense as senior running back Sean Scott rushed for a season-high 206 yards, including touchdown runs of 61, 20, 7 and 5 yards. Scott has 841 yards and 12 touchdowns on 102 carries this season.
