The Office: 53 percent of respondents said the "boring and mismanaged" workplace depicted in The Office is most like thier own. Steve Carell's character, Michael Scott, reminds many of the classic bad boss.

When you crack a joke at work, does a laugh track chime in? Do you end each day in a dramatic boardroom meeting, dreading the words "You're fired"? Work environments on popular television shows may be made up, but many real-life employees can relate in an all-too-real way to the situations depicted on these shows, according to a new online poll by employee Web site Monster.com, based on more than 4,800 votes cast on the site's home page. The biggest difference is most workers have to go deal with these dramas and mishaps on a daily basis, while TV stars are up against it only 30 or 60 minutes a week. How about you?
