What can be done to assist victims of the recent Peruvian earthquake?

For a list of organizations accepting donations for victims of the Peruvian earthquake, go to InterAction at www.interaction.org/peru_quake/. InterAction - a coalition of U.S.-based private relief, international development and refugee assistance organizations - does not accept direct donations. The August earthquake and its aftershocks devastated the city of Pisco and flattened buildings in other Pacific coast cities. At least 500 people have died and more are missing.
