Chargers tame Mustangs to remain unbeaten
By CHRIS WAGENHEIM, Times Correspondent
Published October 12, 2007
The Chargers corralled the Mustangs, beating them 26-6 on Saturday. With the win, the Salvation Army Midgets remain unbeaten at 4-0. Aaron Agazarm had one touchdown and an interception. Jesse Felske scored two touchdowns, and Josiah Morris broke a 60-yard run for the score, while Anton Dawkins recovered three fumbles against the Mustangs.
The Chargers Mini-mites also held their opponent to six points but could not score any for themselves. Facing an undefeated Mustangs team that has scored 20 points or more against the rest of their schedule, the Chargers kept the Mustang scoring down, but blocking miscues kept the Chargers' scoring down as well. The Chargers and the Mustangs will have another showdown on Nov. 10.
