Class teaches variety of skills needed in acting

Francis Wilson Playhouse is offering a new program, a 12-week adult acting class, starting at 7 p.m. Tuesdayat the theater at 302 Seminole St. Director, actor and teacher Michael Nangle will offer instruction in auditioning, acting vocabulary, preparation, relaxation, voice work, rehearsal techniques, creating a character and more. The class is appropriate for beginning, intermediate and advanced actors. Cost of the 12-week class is $200. Green Market kicks off Friday

Dunedin's Green Market will open its fourth season at 8 a.m. Friday in Pioneer Park at Main Street and Douglas Avenue. In celebration of the opening, the Dunedin Middle School Pipe Band will perform at 10 a.m. The market will include produce, cheeses, seafood, plants and herbs, honey, all-natural pet treats, organic products, nuts, natural seasonings and fresh fruit. Market hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Friday through the end of April. Walk Pinellas Trail for a.m. workout

School Board holds meeting Tuesday

The Pinellas County School Board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the conference hall of the administration building, 301 Fourth St. SW, Largo. Residents may address any item on the agenda not involving a hearing on employee discipline by registering before the item is introduced. Musicians invited for band auditions
