Book Discussion Group: 10 a.m. Oct. 23, Spring Hill Branch/Harold G. Zopp Memorial Library, 9220 Spring Hill Drive. The book to be discussed is Saturday by Ian McEwan. The novel concentrates on a day in the life of a London neurosurgeon on Feb. 15, 2003, the day of a massive antiwar demonstration. He deals with questions of peace and war, fear and hope, healing and violence not only in the context of world events, but also within his own family.
