Artistic trek through the park

About 30 artists displayed their work and a few musicians performed in Seminole Park at Historic Kenwood's inaugural Art in the Park on Saturday. Local restaurant Brisket Basket also had a food booth. The event has been a year in the making. Proceeds benefit Creative Clay Cultural Arts Center, a professional arts training program for adults with developmental disabilities, located on Central Avenue. In 2006, Cottage Living listed Kenwood among its Top 10 Cottage Communities.
