Waterfront could use your artistic touch

Help decorate the downtown waterfront and be a part of the winter holiday festivities.

If you have an idea for a giant greeting card, submit an entry on two 6-inch by 12-inch white poster boards, in a color, vertical format.

Judging will be based on originality, execution, overall appearance and verse/concept. Winners will be selected from these entries and cash awards will be given out.

If selected, you will be asked to reproduce the drawings on two 4-foot by 8-foot plywood panels provided by the city of St. Petersburg Recreation Department.

These giant greeting cards will be displayed along Vinoy Park in downtown St. Petersburg for one month during the winter holiday season.

Deadline for entries is Friday. Call Polly at 892-5874 for more information.
