Kathy's Place hosts annual fall fundraiser

TAMPA

Kathy's Place, an agency for grieving children and families who have lost loved ones, will host its annual Fall Festival fundraiser this Sunday.

The event is free and open to the public from 2 to 7 p.m. at Al Lopez Park, 4810 N Himes Ave.

The festival aims to increase awareness of the services provided by the nonprofit agency, as well as raise funds to support grieving families in the Tampa Bay area. For more information, call Heather Wise at 541-2672.

BAYSIDE WEST

Neighborhood group's yard/garage sale set

The Bayside West Neighborhood Association will hold its annual neighborhood yard/garage sale Saturday. The boundaries are W Bay Villa Avenue, S Manhattan Avenue, Gandy Boulevard and Tampa Bay Boulevard. The rain date is Oct. 27.

Neighbors interested in signing up should call Jerry at 839-1066.
