14th annual Sonshine Arts and Crafts Festival, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 27, Christ Lutheran Church, 475 North Ave. W, Brooksville. Indoor table and outdoor space reservations are $15. Sponsored by the Mary Martha Guild of the church, proceeds will benefit the youth groups and their projects. 36th annual Citrus County Festival of the Arts, Nov. 1-4, Courthouse Square, off U.S. 41, Inverness. Applications are also available at all Citrus County Chamber of Commerce offices (401 Tompkins St., Inverness; 28 NW U.S. 19, Crystal River; and 3495 S Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa). This is a juried show with purchase awards and about $10,000 in prize money. In addition to regular exhibitors, artists from area schools will display their work. There is no admission charge to attend the festival.

Vendor spaces (10-foot by 10-foot) are available to those selling produce, plants and shrubbery, antiques, collectibles, crafts, woodwork, jewelry, candles, baskets, quilts and miscellaneous items.
