SEMINOLE - Big plays propelled the Gladiators to their largest offensive output of the season on Friday night, while the defense recorded its first shutout. Gibbs running back Devon McCullough recorded 74 of his 280 rushing yards on his first play from scrimmage, and added a 90-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Michael Kendricks took the second-half opening kickoff 88 yards for his first touchdown of the season. Gibbs (4-2) finished with 363 total yards of offense. The Gladiators' defense capitalized on two Seminole (0-7) special teams' miscues, sacking the punter once and recovering a snap that sailed over his head. The Gladiators got the ball inside the 5-yard line both times. The Gladiators' defense allowed no passing yards until the fourth quarter, and forced nine punts and four fumbles.
