Lakewood 35, Osceola 18

SEMINOLE - The Lakewood Spartans ran for 351 and five touchdowns, including 191 yards and three touchdown by Bernard Reedy, to claim the win over Osceola. The Warriors scored on their opening drive thanks to a fake field goal, with Kevin O'Donnell gaining a first down at the Warriors 1-yard line. Cameron Cabarris scored from there for the 7-0 Seminole lead. But Lakewood would score on its first three possessions. Reedy had touchdown runs of 22 and 2 yards in the secondnd quarter, and quarterback Victor Perkins ran for a 26 yard touchdown. After a scoreless third quarter, Reedy added his third touchdown run of the night, this one from 9 yards out, to put the Spartans ahead 28-10. A 42-yard touchdown run by the Warriors Edwin McKinney cut the Lakewood lead to 28-18. But the Spartans recovered the onside kick, and Justin Gray scored from 8 yards out to put the game away. Both teams finished the game with 43 rushing attempts, but the Spartans outgained the Warriors 351 yards to 192. The teams combined for over 500 yards of offense and 29 first downs.
