Largo 28, Dixie Hollins 9
By LAUREN BURG, TIMES CORRESPONDENT
Published October 20, 2007
LARGO - Riding the legs of workhorse running back Brynn Harvey, Largo won a key 5A, District 10 matchup with Dixie Hollins. The 7-0 Packers are one of only two undefeated teams in Pinellas County. Harvey led the Packers with 17 rushes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He had help from quarterback Leonard Johnson, who had five carries for 35 yards and one touchdown rushing. He also threw a 32-yard TD to Reginald McCray. The Packers' defense stopped the Rebels at the 1-yard line to close out the half. It also blocked Josh Stoll's extra-point attempt in the fourth quarter and held Dixie to 5 of 17 passes for 43 yards and one TD in the last five minutes. The Rebels were led by sophomore Jermeil Douse's 114 yards rushing on 13 carries. He was also 2 of 6 passing for 15 yards with a 5-yard TD to Mike Garrand. Lauren Burg, Times correspondent

I Went To This Game. Dixie's Defence Came To Play. Only 117 Yards & 1 Rushing TD. If Dixie Had A Offence They Would Have Won. Yes Largo Won. But They Need To Step It Up If There Going To Go Far In The Playoffs. Good Luck To Both Teams.
