On Oct. 16, Palm Harbor Kiwanis members, accompanied by Old Palm Harbor Main Street Executive Director Robin Husbands-Cauchi, dedicated a plaque honoring the installation of a U.S. flag at Harbor Hall in Historic Old Palm Harbor.

Kiwanians were Marty Bretthauer, John Kiker, Duane Young, John Burnham, Murray Smith, Carl Heifetz, Jack Keiler, and Mike Landi. The plaque was designed by Alicia Phidd and John Burnham.

The flag installation is an expression of the Kiwanis Club's patriotic zeal and commitment to community service in Palm Harbor.

The club also has 2008 Entertainment and Books available for $20. Each contains thousands of dollars in "Two-for-One" offers and up to 50 percent-off discounts from popular local and national restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, resorts, entertainment venues and other merchants.

A portion of the proceeds supports Young Children - Priority One Charities.
