Senior menus / Meals on Wheels

Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a nutritious meal and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of frail elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. All meals include low-fat milk. Call to register. Today: Sliced turkey with turkey gravy, whipped sweet potatoes, garden peas, whole wheat bread with margarine, mixed fruit cup.
Tuesday: Broccoli, rice & cheese casserole, carrot cuts, green beans, whole grain bread with margarine, diced peaches.
Wednesday: French onion soup, BBQ chicken quarter, mashed potatoes, corn with diced tomatoes, whole grain bread with margarine, banana.
Thursday: Beef stroganoff casserole, broccoli, three bean medley, whole wheat bread with margarine, diced pineapple.
Friday: Pork cutlet with brown gravy, black eyed peas, country vegetable medley, whole wheat bread with margarine, chocolate chip cookie.
