TAMPA BAY AREA
Get your snowman outfit ready.
Bay area residents will have several chances in coming weeks to make video recordings of questions for the Republican presidential candidates at the Nov. 28 CNN/YouTube debate at the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg. The first is Wednesday.
Organizers of the debate will pick about 40 questions from these recordings and thousands of others who have already submitted video queries.
The debate was rescheduled from an original date in September after some leading candidates claimed scheduling conflicts.
Some Republicans have questioned the format, saying a similar debate for Democrats this summer was undignified.
One question featured a question about global warming from a snowman.
Here are details of the locations:
-Wednesday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Westshore Senior Center, 4102 W Spruce St., Tampa.
-Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. St. Petersburg Times Festival of Reading, University of South Florida St. Petersburg.
-Nov. 1, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. YMCA, 3200 First Ave S, St. Petersburg.
