COUNTYWIDE Reclaimed water won't run so freely Faced with dry weather and growing demand, Pinellas County utilities officials will limit reclaimed water for more than 2,600 North Pinellas customers to three days a week starting Wednesday. Customers south of Alderman Road and west of U.S. 19 N will have reclaimed water available on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Customers elsewhere in North Pinellas will have reclaimed water available on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The county last week urged reclaimed water users to curtail their use. DUNEDIN Car burns in garage fire Firefighters responded to a fire that officials believe started in a garage at 2668 Cedarglen Drive shortly after 5 p.m. Monday. A car in the garage was engulfed in flames and at least half the house was damaged, but three people inside escaped unhurt, said division Chief Bill McElligott. Damage was estimated at $110,000. The cause of the fire was under investigation late Monday.
