Activist wins socialists' nod for president

Moore, 64, a founder of Nature Coast Coalition for Peace and Justice, has run twice unsuccessfully as a Democrat for the U.S. House of Representatives. Last year, he failed in his bid as an independent to unseat U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson. Moore won the nomination on the convention's third ballot.
